About a month ago our closest family friend Rachel, asked if we would enter a contest for Kidds Kids on Mix 96.1 in San Antonio,Tx. At first I was hesitant but my husband said it would not hurt to try. Rachel (our comadre) also entered a letter for our story and about our son Nathan, who was diagnosed with muscular distrophy (Duchennes) almost a year ago.
When we got a call last week about the results for the trip to Walt Disney World, I was in shock and could not catch my breath that we won...it was so unreal my family did not beleive me when I told them we won, they stood there looking at me. My husband Mando, my daughters Megan and Brianna of course Nathan..all stood there with amazement. We are so thankful for ALL who had come together to start this beautiful dream for us and for all the other families who deserve the most magical and loving getaway. My husband and I are still in awe and my heart is ready to burst with excitement. My children never stop talking about the wonderful experience we are going to have and can't wait to see Walt Disney World in real life....just like in T.V.

Thank you with all our hearts the Escobar Family.

Welcome To Kidd's Kids

I founded Kidd's Kids in 1991 with the hope of making a difference in the lives of terminally and chronically ill children. Each year, Kidd's Kids offers five amazing days of suspended reality to
children whose lives have been ravaged by disease. Kidd's Kids children and their families are given the chance to experience the exuberance of being "normal." That is the gift that you and I can
offer by supporting the Kidd's Kids organization. Signed,
