On Friday, February 4th 2011, the Super Bowl party keeps on going! Join thousands of fellow Super Bowl party goers in Dallas, Texas at the grand stage of the Cotton Bowl.
Headlining Friday’s energy packed lineup is a DJ set from the Cambridge Massachusetts based indie-pop group Passion Pit. With the 2009 release of their first full length album, Manners, Passion Pit has quickly grown into one of the top indie pop groups in the country. Passion Pit began as a collection of songs recorded for lead singer Michael Angelakos’ girlfriend at the time, and was later expanded from a solo project to include more band members for a richer sound.
Playing an eclectic mix of Rock, Hip Hop, various forms of House, up-to-the-minute dance tunes and even a bit of 80’s Electro, Roger and Jake always deliver scintillating sets that keep dance floors pumping. Roger Taylor sights influences stemming from long nights in New York’s infamous 80′s dance clubs, such as Danceteria, The Limelight, and Area – as well as the now legendary Rum Runner Club, where Roger formed Duran Duran with John Taylor and Nick Rhodes.

Rounding out Friday’s Super Bowl XLV Party lineup is Austin’s own Lance Herbstrong and The Space Rockers
