Getting Settled Into New Home Office

Since we were finally able to get moved in last week, I spent most of the weekend and this week trying to get my office reorganized. In the old place, i had two closets that I was able to use for storage, etc and that kind of extra space does not exist in the new house. So I am trying to find some storage solutions that will work in the space that I have, I tell you it is always something, LOL..

We are getting more and more Kidd's Kids Applications in for this year's trip everyday. It is so great to see that family members, friends, and healthcare professionals are still taking time out of their day to nominate a child with special medical needs for our annual trip. I can already tell that selecting the children for this year's trip is going to be a daunting task for the selection committee.

Yesterday, Josh and I met with the marketing group from Hard Rock Cafe. They are opening a new cafe here in downtown Dallas and want to get the show and the charity involved in every way possible. It was a great meeting, so I am excited about the opportunities that they are going to bring to the charity and the exposure the charity will get by being involved with HRC on a national level.

Hi Derrick Brown:
My name is Jessica and I'm currently looking for somewhere to volunteer to give my time to and since I listen to mix96.1, I've heard of Kidd's Kids before. I've fallen in love with the cause the moment I heard what it was about. Although I don't have a monetary donation to offer, I was wondering if there was anything I could do during the summer to help out this wonderful foundation. Please let me know! You can contact me via e-mail at jessicaq93@hotmail.com. Thank you for your time.

So excited to hear that all is going great
Let me know if there is anything that I can do to help with the marketing of the charity at the center. And if you send me the info on the center, I will make sure that we send them a special thank you note!

HI
DERRICK,

HELLO FROM THE BRUNER FAMILY,

I FINISHED MY LAST CHEMO TODAY AND MY CAT SKAN SHOWED THAT I AM NOW CANCER FREE. THE CANCER CENTER WHERE I RECEIVED MY TREATMENTS ARE BIG DONATERS TO THE KIDDSKIDS DISNEY TRIPS. MONDAY I HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE CANCER CENTER FOR A SHOT TO IMPROVE MY BONE MARROW AND I AM HOPING THAT THEY WILL ALLOW US TO PUT A POSTER UP TO GIVE OUT SOME INFORMATION ABOUT THIS YEARS TRIP AND MAYBE THIS WILL ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO START THINKING ABOUT DONATING EARLY THIS YEAR. I AM GOING TO TAKE DREW WITH ME AND WE ALL KNOW HOW CUTE HE IS SO I THINK THERE WON'T BE ANY PROBLEMS. AGAIN WE THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US AS A FAMILY TO EXPERIENCE A TRIP OF A LIFE TIME. THE MEMORIES HAVE BEEN A GREAT SOURCE OF HAPPINESS AND COMFORT FOR US THESE LAST FEW MONTHS.
GODS BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL
JULIE BRUNER

Welcome To Kidd's Kids

I founded Kidd's Kids in 1991 with the hope of making a difference in the lives of terminally and chronically ill children. Each year, Kidd's Kids offers five amazing days of suspended reality to
children whose lives have been ravaged by disease. Kidd's Kids children and their families are given the chance to experience the exuberance of being "normal." That is the gift that you and I can
offer by supporting the Kidd's Kids organization. Signed,
