Cancer survivor!! Whooo Hooo!!!
Hi kidd and crew. I am proud of everything ya'll do for these kids. I was 15 when I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. I had a hard time with the disease but, I have had a hard time with surviving also. It saddens me to know that Kids that have been "afflicted" with this horrible disease, knowing that this could be their last chance to be a kid. I remember my Dr. saying "you know, by the time we are done, you'll think we've done everything but an autopsy". Believe me I did think that at times. I did not know at the time if I would make it, much less get to do all the things that I had always wanted to do. I am now 42 years old and still know what those babies are going through. It seems like yesterday. I know that what ya'll have done for them has been giving back what is so prescious, being a kid again. Thanks again, much love and support to you all in this crusade for the kids,

so glad you beat that awful disease!!! my dad is also a childhood cancer survivor! he'll turn 54 this aug & is one of the oldest living patients from st. jude's:) i have a special needs daughter & over her 9 years we've battled several hurdles, but she always proves the drs wrong when they say she won't do this she proves that she WILL do it! God bless you for your strength & courage!
