Hola Kidd,
I don't even know where to begin....We want to thank you from the bottom
of our hearts for the best 5 days ever in Marcos' life, really! He still cannot stop
talking about some aspect of the trip and I don't think he ever will. This trip
meant almost as much to me and my husband as to Marcos; for different
reasons. I have been a listener of yours since you were on KEGL and my
youngest sister has a picture of you and her when she was 12 (she… Continue
I truly commend you for what you are doing for sick children. It is people like you who really make a difference in the world. I saw you on the Doctors TV today, and was blown away by the help & generosity you provide for others. Could you please mail me a donation form? I was not able to open it from your web site. I do not have much, and have my own issues, but I do realize that there are many that are less fortunate that I am, and therefore I would like to… Continue
Growing up my childhood best friend was diagnosed with leukemia. We lived a simple life in Louisiana, and didn't have much. I just saw the episode of DR.s with Kidd's Kids on the show. I wish we would have known about this to nominate Larissa Keen for a trip of a lifetime. She was 13 when she died, with short hair (grown after treatment stopped) and long nails (from treatment.) She is on my mind every day, and I am now 21. I miss her so much and it is an inspiration to see so many children able… Continue
Hello Kidd
I saw you on the Dr's show today. I know you were concerned about your appearance. You did GREAT. You told the story about Kidd's Kids and made a awesome impression on your audience. You should be proud.
I would like to volunteer for Kidds kids. Please send me the email address so I can do that.
Thank you
Margaret Crabtree
I just saw your piece on The Doctors, and I just wanted to let you know how much it touched my heart to see groups like yours reach out to these children.
My 5-month-old daughter was just diagnosed with Gaucher's disease, a very rare metabolic disease, and at this pointo we don't know if it is type 1 (just physical symptoms) or type 3 (physical and neurological with a limited life expectancy of 20 years or so,, but she will have IV treatments every 2 weeks for life regardless of what… Continue
I founded Kidd's Kids in 1991 with the hope of making a difference in the lives of terminally and chronically ill children. Each year, Kidd's Kids offers five amazing days of suspended reality to
children whose lives have been ravaged by disease. Kidd's Kids children and their families are given the chance to experience the exuberance of being "normal." That is the gift that you and I can
offer by supporting the Kidd's Kids organization. Signed,
