Kidd’s Kids Trip 2010

The 2010 Kidd's Kids Nomination Application will be available for download beginning June 1, 2010. Please check back at that time to download the Application for the 2010 Kidd's Kids Trip To Walt Disney World.

To nominate a child for the Kidd’s Kids trip, the child must meet all of the following four criteria:

1 - The child must be between the ages of 5 and 12 years old (at the time of the trip)

2 - The child’s illness or disability must be one of the following: The child is diagnosed with a chronic/terminal illness OR the child is physically challenged OR the child has a catastrophic impairment due to an accident or birth defect

3 - The child must reside in a Kidd Kraddick In The Morning show listening area (“listening area” is defined by being able to listen to the show on the radio in the child’s home city).

4 - The child/family must show a financial need

If selected to attend the trip, the child and the child's family members are invited to join us in Walt Disney World. Family Members are defined as the child's parent(s)/legal guardian(s) and siblings (between the ages of 5 and 16 years of age) who all currently reside in the child's household.

Hello my name is Jason im 13 years old, my sister Jaylen, eight years old, has been going through alot. Four months ago we found out she had a two tumors in the center of her brain. From that day the life she knew was no longer, the life she had cheerleading, baseball, and being at school with her friends. Right away my familys life has changed my mom quit her job, my dad works more hours, i try to help out around the house and my four year old brother. Jaylen has had a very positive attitude, but lately the chemo and all the hospitol visits have been getting to her. It hurts to see my baby sister go through so much pain and struggle, she misses school and her friends. Lately shes been very sad which hurts me, she needs to be strong not sad. If she won this trip to disney world, she would be so happy and mabey forget about the cancer for a day or two.She has a big heart and deserves this trip. Please think of my sister Jaylen, i want to see her happy again.

Barbara I'm right with you. My son's caseworker mention that I should fill out an application. Good luck!

I have listened to Kidd Kraddick for several years....always heard about the Kidd's Kids trip to Disney. I thought it was only for terminally ill children. I have a special needs child who is 7 years old. Can't wait to try for the trip this year. I really think this is something she would love. Thanks, Kidd, for all you do!!

Welcome To Kidd's Kids

I founded Kidd's Kids in 1991 with the hope of making a difference in the lives of terminally and chronically ill children. Each year, Kidd's Kids offers five amazing days of suspended reality to
children whose lives have been ravaged by disease. Kidd's Kids children and their families are given the chance to experience the exuberance of being "normal." That is the gift that you and I can
offer by supporting the Kidd's Kids organization. Signed,
