Truly humbling to hear some of the stories and letters you talk about Kidd. You guys are truly amazing for, as you say, “fascillitating this” and it is truly an incredible understatement.
I am a 47 year old, single dad of an amazing healthy 15 year old girl here in Allen. As a parent, I worry when she gets sick because it’s just me.
My heart and deepest respect goes out to the parents who have a challenging situation in their lives, in regard to a sick child. I listen to you guys for about an hour as I drive to love Field to work every day and look across to South West’s hangers and think, how great are you guys. I am also in aviation and most in aviation who work “Big Iron” wish they worked for South West Airlines. They are truly above the rest and very respected among the Aviation community.
I am so very happy we have folks like you guys out there doing all you can to go out of your way for people you don’t even know, in other words, “Helping others that can’t help themselves” if for nothing else, to truly enjoy a week of absolute memorable moments for these great kids and their families. You guys are “Heroes” to these families and to all your listeners who are constantly reminded of why we tune in to 106.1 everyday in order to get that first laugh or cry out of the way for the day.
If our President and Mr. Romney want to know what the people in this great state of ours are all about, have them tune in to Kidd Kraddock in the morning. God Speed you guys…you’re awesome….
